ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Hi, my name is Michele Erickson and I am a certified Baby Signing Time instructor with Signing Time Academy. I began teaching my daughter sign language at a very early age, and soon saw the benefits as she excelled in both motor and verbal skills.
After spending eight years as a personal trainer and fitness coach working with children, I realized that I wanted to continue my ASL education and take my two passions (teaching and children) and pursue becoming a sign language instructor. Thanks to Signing Time Academy, I now have the opportunity to do that. I grew up in Rockland County, NY and now live in Oakland, NJ with my wonderful husband and beautiful two-year old daughter who is my inspiration and the reason I have pursued this career.
